Fire Dragons

Humans put their pyromaniacs behind bars, the Eldar put theirs to a far better use- they give them fusion guns and call them Fire Dragons. The high strength and armour piercing ability of their weapons (S6 AP1) make them ideal for devastating vehicles and certain types of units.

Whenever you face T4 - T6 foes with a good save (2+ or 3+) or armies with loads of heavily armoured vehicles, these are your guys. Bike squads, Terminators, Dark Angels Ravenwing, Dreadnoughts and all sorts of Tanks come to mind.

For obvious reasons, folks that play Imperial Guard really hate these guys.

Their weaponry (and tactics, for that matter) are similar to that of their Wraithguard brethren, but since these gents don't have the resiliency of a 3+ save and a toughness of 5 like the ghost warriors, they rarely amble into a battle the same way. They need to be a little more cautious in their approach.
